QUADRI-POL ELECTROPERMANENT MAGNETIC CHUCKS

Magnetic plates specially designed for magnetic clamping in machining centers and for milling operations. They allow light and heavy milling to be carried out on a wide variety of types of parts. They improve productivity in planing, squaring or machining. It is possible to machine the five accessible faces of the part in a single clamping. The electropermanent circuit of these plates allows us to combine the power of an electromagnet with the safety of a permanent magnet.


They have the following advantages:

  • Minimum energy consumption. It is only consumed during the magnetizing and demagnetizing process.
  • Absence of deformations of the plate due to heating.
  • The risk of accident due to power failure is zero.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • The C45 monoblock structure gives them great solidity and resistance to deformations, allowing precise positioning of the part using any support system.
  • The advanced technology control unit for the control of the dish allows the sequential activation of up to four dishes. It also has a high-power EMC anti-interference filter in accordance with the electromagnetic compatibility directive.

Polar extensions

They are an extension of the squared pole of the chuck to a certain height. The pieces of irregular surface that do not fit well on the chuck, are perfectly subject by means of polar extensions.

There are two types: fixed and mobile. The mobiles adapt to the irregular surface of the piece and the fix ones, act as a support. A good subjection is obtained by adding the appropriate number of mobile polar extensions, and at least three fix extensions.
