MAGNETIC SEPARATION SYSTEMS FOR THE FOOD INDUSTRY

The increasing rigor of food hygiene legislation has led to an increase in demand for metal separation systems in the food industry. Issues of civil liability for defective products have forced food and pharmaceutical manufacturers to implement measures to ensure quality. For this reason, the products that Selter offers comply with European legislation and regulations. The materials used to build all these systems are of the highest quality. It is worth noting that the greatest care is always taken in the selection of construction and finishing processes.

We manufacture our separation systems in strict compliance with EHEDG standards. This design commitment optimizes disinfection processes, minimizes the risk of cross-contamination and ensures maximum hygiene in food production lines.

Magnetic plates:
Made with ferrite or neodymium magnets. They are used for the separation of ferrous materials from material flows on conveyor belts, free fall, in vertical or inclined pipes, under ramps, tubes, etc.

Magnetic bars:
Made with Nd52 magnets of very high magnetic induction (12,000 Gauss). They can be installed at all possible points in a solid or liquid product transport system and act as a filter.

Magnetic grids:
Both square and circular; normal and with covers to facilitate cleaning. Also grids in semi-automatic cleaning housing. They are used in pipe systems, hoppers, channels, etc. to separate the ferrous particles that circulate through these systems.

Chute magnets:
With side magnetic plates. They can be with side openings or with a cleaning drawer. Specially designed for the elimination of iron particles from powder materials and granulated products.

Magnetic filters:
With single and double wall. These magnetic filters are used to extract ferrous particles from liquid products. They are also used in hydraulic circuits and refrigeration systems.
